Prevatte & Prevatte, PLLC

About The Firm

 Local North Carolina Law Firm

Back in 1938, E.J. Prevatte founded the law firm with the goal of better serving local community businesses and neighbors involved in real estateestate planningwills and trusts, and business law. That philosophy holds true today.

The firm has committed itself to maintaining a significant presence in the Southport community and understands the challenges the community and its people face as it continues to grow. With rapid increases in population and housing development over the last few years, the area has seen its share of changes. However, one aspect of the community will remain constant.

The lawyers at Prevatte & Prevatte are dedicated to providing the same high level of service and attention to detail that its founder began almost seven decades ago. Please  contact the firm and let 70 years of experience work for you.

Legal Matters are for Lawyers

In response to the time constraints and overhead costs involved in a law practice, law firms often delegate much of their responsibility to support staff. In fact, at some firms, clients rarely have the opportunity to speak to their attorney.

That is not the case at Prevatte & Prevatte. The firm values the assistance of its experienced staff of legal professionals, and relies on them for their solid judgment and proficiency. However, the firm's lawyers are active participants in every case. For example, the firm's attorneys personally conduct title searches in real property transactions and take the time to personally conduct closings.
